Flange electric heat pipe often leaks electricity or shortens its service life when it is used alone. We remind customers that this kind of problem may be due to the selection of unqualified products on the one hand. On the other hand, manufacturers of constant temperature heating platforms should pay more attention to the following points in their use:

1. Components are allowed to work under the following conditions: A. Relative humidity of air is not more than 95%, no explosive and corrosive gases. B. The working voltage shall not exceed 1.1 times the rated value, and the housing shall be effectively grounded. C. Dielectric strength of insulation resistance (> 1M): 2KV/1min.

2. Flange electric heat pipe should be positioned and fixed well. The effective heating zone must be immersed in liquid or metal solid, and Air-Burning is strictly prohibited. When it is found that there is scale or carbon deposit on the surface of the pipe body, it should be reused promptly and cleanly so as to avoid heat dissipation and shorten the service life.

3. When heating fusible metals or solid salts of nitrate, alkali, leaching and paraffin, the service voltage should be lowered first, and then the rated voltage can be raised only after the medium melts.

4. When heating air, the elements should be arranged evenly and crosswise, so that the elements have good heat dissipation conditions, so that the air flowing through can be fully heated.

5. Safety measures should be taken into account when heating nitrate to prevent explosion accidents.

6. The wiring part should be placed outside the insulation layer to avoid contact with corrosive, explosive media and water; the wiring should be able to withstand the temperature and heating load of the wiring part for a long time, and the wiring screw should be tightened to avoid overexertion.

7. Components should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance is lower than 1M for a long time, they can be dried in an oven at about 200 C or heated by lowering the voltage until the insulation resistance is restored.

8. Magnesium oxide powder at the outlet end of flange electric heating pipe should be avoided from contamination and water infiltration in the use place to prevent the occurrence of leakage accidents.

Magnesium oxide is filled in the gap inside the flange electric heating pipe. Magnesium oxide at the outlet of the flange electric heating pipe is easily contaminated by impurities and moisture. Therefore, attention should be paid to the state of the outlet of the flange electric heating pipe during operation to avoid leakage accident.
