The heat conducting oil furnace is to heat the electric heater directly by inserting it into the organic carrier (heat conducting oil). The heated heat conducting oil is transported to the heating equipment through liquid phase circulation by high temperature oil pump, and then heated by the oil outlet of the heating equipment back to the electric heating oil furnace to form a complete circulating heating system. Electric heating oil furnace adopts digital temperature controller to control temperature. It has the functions of over-temperature alarm, low oil level alarm and over-pressure alarm.

Heat conducting oil furnace is also called organic heat carrier furnace, commonly known as heat conducting oil boiler, the official name is hot oil furnace. It is a new type of heat energy conversion equipment with coal, oil and gas as fuel and heat conducting oil as circulating medium. Heat conducting oil furnace refers to a new type of heat energy conversion equipment with high temperature heat conducting oil (also known as heat coal and heat carrier). Usually, MW (megawatt) is also used to express the capacity of the furnace. Old units also use "10,000 kW/h" or "10,000 kcal/h", that is, "104 kcal/h". It is indicated that the advantages of heat conducting oil furnace are "high temperature and low pressure" and smooth operation, which is widely used.

The heat conducting oil furnace is mainly used in the heating of crude oil and natural gas, and in the processing, storage and transportation of mineral oil. Refineries use heat conducting oil to preheat cold materials and have been successfully used to heat solvent and extractant evaporation units in lubricating oil manufacturing process. Compared with steam heating, heat conducting oil heating has many advantages, such as uniform heating, simple operation, safety, environmental protection, energy saving, high temperature control accuracy and low operating pressure. It has been widely used as a heat transfer medium in modern industrial production.
