The heater is a combined unit composed of fan, motor and air heater. Applicable to all types of workshop, when the air does not contain dust and flammable or explosive gases, the heater manufacturer can be used as circulating air heating. The heater can be used as heating independently, usually to supplement the insufficient part of the radiator or to use the radiator as on-duty heating, and the rest of the heat load is borne by the heater.

The schematic diagram of the components of the heater is shown below. It is a heating unit composed of fan 1, motor 2 and heat exchanger 3. Under the dynamic action of fan 1, air enters the unit from suction port 6, and is heated when it flows through air heat exchanger 3. It flows out of the unit from outlet 7 to heating space and causes indoor air circulation. The outlet has a guide vane 4 for adjusting the direction of the outlet.

As the end device of hot water or steam heating system, the heater can be divided into hot water heater and steam heater according to the heat medium. The former uses hot water as heat medium, and the latter uses steam as heat medium.

There are two types of fans for heater: axial flow fan and centrifugal fan. Axial fan is often used in small units, centrifugal fan is often used in large units. Small heaters have NC, NF, S, TS, NA and other models, large heaters have NBL, NLGS and other models.
