I. Leakage Phenomenon

1. The junction posts are not completely covered with insulating tape, and there is a leakage of electricity.

3. Corrosion, trachoma and leakage of metal casing used in electric heating pipe.

4. The incorrect wiring method leads to excessive surface load of the electric heating tube burning out the heating tube and tripping phenomenon.

2. Insufficient Section Area of Power Wire

The cross-sectional area of the power line of the electric heat pipe is not enough, which causes the power line to overheat and causes the leakage protector to malfunction. The manufacturer of cast aluminium heating platform checks the power supply line or replaces the power supply line matching the power of the electric heat pipe.

3. The leakage circuit breaker is broken.

1. Surface load is too high, resulting in excessive local temperature, burnout, insulation decline and tripping.

2. Failure to waterproof the connection post may cause dampness, insulation decline and tripping of the connection post.

3. The reason that the customer thinks himself: the electric heating pipe may not have problems, which may be caused by the sensitivity of leakage protection.

The phenomenon of tripping of electric heater tube is mainly caused by the decrease of insulation resistance, and after tripping, there are two phenomena: 1. the resistance wire of electric heater tube is burned out; 2. the resistance value of electric heater tube is only decreased, and the resistance wire is not broken.

So how can we solve this problem if we only look at the electric heating tube itself?

Avoiding such a problem from the root is the design of the electric heating tube.

1. Surface load should not be too large, but should be designed according to the specific heating medium. Reasonable design of surface load can avoid the high surface temperature of the electric heating tube, and also avoid the fusing phenomenon of the electric heating tube due to the high internal temperature. In this way, it is not easy for the electric heating tube to burst, so the insulation resistance of the electric heating tube will not decrease to trip.

2. Waterproof and moisture-proof treatment should be properly carried out in connection posts. It is better to have waterproof silica gel die casting treatment.

It is also very important to choose a professional manufacturer of electric heating tubes. Professional electric heating pipe manufacturers will not pursue low cost without regard to life.
